Holy Masses for the Repose of Souls

According to the teachings of the Catholic Church, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the highest form of worship and has immense spiritual benefits. It is our profound belief that through these Holy Masses, we can aid the souls in Purgatory and bring sanctifying grace to the living.

Requiem Mass is a devout initiative dedicated to restoring and preserving the sacred tradition of requesting Holy Masses for various intentions. Rooted in the rich liturgical heritage of the Catholic Church, our mission is to provide the faithful with a means to offer Masses for the repose of souls and for special intentions.

In a world where such practices have become uncommon, our participating traditional priests aim to celebrate as many Holy Masses as possible for those in need, invoking God's mercy, with the powerful intercession of the communion of saints and the efficacy of the Holy Mass.

How it Works

Submit a Request

Visit the Services page and add a Holy Mass to the cart. Provide all the necessary details.

Choose the type of Mass, intention, preferred language (English or Latin), and date.

Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation with the details of your request.

For English Masses with livestreaming, the schedule will be provided at least one day before the selected date.

Celebration

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be celebrated by one of our participating priests.

An update will be provided via email once the Mass has been celebrated.

Spiritual Benefits

Frequently Asked Questions

While there is no cost to request a Holy Mass, you may offer a stipend as alms for the priest's maintenance and mission. This is not a payment for the Holy Mass but an act of charity.

You can use the code STIPEND50off if the suggested stipend is not within your reach. If you want to request a Holy Mass but a stipend in any amount is simply not currently feasible for you, please submit a Prayer Request instead and mention in your intentions that you prefer a Holy Mass as well. We include all requests. A stipend is optional.

Is there a cost to request a Holy Mass?

A Requiem Mass is a Mass offered for the repose of the souls of the deceased, invoking God's mercy for their eternal rest.

What is a Requiem Mass?

Gregorian Masses are thirty consecutive days of Masses traditionally believed to help the souls in Purgatory attain Heaven, named after Pope St. Gregory the Great.

What are Gregorian Masses?

Yes, you can request Votive Masses for special intentions, such as health recovery, grace, thanksgiving, or any other personal need.

Can I request a Mass for a living person?

You will receive email notifications confirming your request and the details of the scheduled Mass. After the Mass is celebrated, an update will be provided.

How do I know my request has been received and fulfilled?

Our participating priests come from various traditional religious orders committed to the reverent celebration of the Holy Mass.

Are the priests from a specific religious order?

If you choose English for Triduum Masses, livestreaming is available as an option either for the first or third day. The schedule and link will be provided in the confirmation email. Livestreaming is not available as an option for a Latin Mass.

In the spirit of true Christian charity, we invite you to join us in offering intercessory prayers for the intentions of our brethren. By signing up below, you will receive a weekly email containing a list of prayer intentions submitted through our website. These petitions are an opportunity for you to exercise the corporal and spiritual works of mercy by remembering these intentions in your daily Rosary, personal devotions, Holy Masses, family prayers, novenas, and communal prayers.

We assure you that the only emails you will receive from us will be these prayer intentions, and nothing else. In your generosity, as you lift these needs to Our Lord and Our Lady, know that you too will be remembered in our prayers.
